Stories Seven on KCHO's Weekend Showcase

Stories Seven is the seventh annual 1078 Stories group exhibition held in December. It's a festive, holiday event that brings together five different artists with strong links to Chico. This year, we have two painters (Dolores Mitchell, retired art history professor at Chico State , and Leslie Mahon-Russo, who has been studying with Sal Casa for years), one tile artist (Robin Indar, who's in the band Severance Package), one installation artist (Rudy Salgado, who returns to us from Kentucky), and one photographer (Tom Patton, who heads photo in Chico State's Art Department). 1078 Gallery publishes a small book to accompany the exhibit and makes it available at the reception. The five artists are given prompts for the book—but not for the art, which they choose themselves.
