Gallery Rental / Co-sponsored Events


While 1078 Gallery is not available for "rent" (due to tax and alcohol license restrictions,) we do, on occasion, "co-sponsor" events that fit into our non-profit mission. 

Our ability to accommodate requests to co-sponsor an event (and the cost) depends on several factors including:
  • If you'd like beer to be sold (by 1078) at the event*
  • Type of event
  • Time of day of event
  • If there is a door charge 
  • If we are able to secure volunteer staffing for the event

Rates (new as of 1/1/2020, subject to change)
Members and non-profits: $40/hr, 2 hour minimum
Non-members and others: $55/hr, 2 hour minimum
Daily rates also available
Note: For events with a door charge, 1078 Gallery may charge 30% of door fees in lieu of hourly rate.

  • Type of event
  • Desired dates
  • If there will be a door charge
  • If you'd like 1078 to sell beer at the event*

​Please make your event request at least 2 months in advance. 
Please allow a few days for our volunteers to respond to email requests.

*Beer only, sold by 1078 Gallery only. No wine, other alcohol, or sales by outside organizations, due to California state alcohol laws and permitting requirements.
