About the Artist
Christian Laney-Clark is a multimedia artist born and raised in Northern California. He is largely self-taught working in graphic design, photography, and textiles since 2009. Originally inspired by the lectures of mystic Terence McKenna, he has been working under the monikers Archaic Revival, Telos, and Therros Western. He now primarily considers himself a clothing designer, focusing on the creation of unique modern Western wear. He has studied clothing design at Butte College and clothing manufacturing under Kathleen Fasanella in Albuquerque, NM. He has shown locally at Boho, Blackbird, and Bizarre Bazaar. Laney-Clark provides a progressive version of the iconic American cowboy. Instagram
