The concept of fragmentation and longing has been a steady thread throughout my work. My current body of work again revisits these ideas, exploring fragmented landscapes created by compiling bits and pieces of images. These fragments are used as a means to refer back to the idea of the whole. Implicating romantic notions of landscape, there is an attempt to locate something that has been lost, or an attempt to secure some sort of foothold, a sense of security amidst an ever-shifting environment.
