Calling all artists!  

Are you ready to stretch your creativity and air some stuff out? 

Get ready for Dirty Laundry, an open-entry show at 1078 Gallery that will inspire you to experiment with a new palette and try on some new styles.

Here's how it will work:  Come by 1078 during normal gallery hours to register and pick up your grab bag of clothing articles. These will be distributed randomly to challenge your creative connections. Each bag will contain at least 3 items.

You'll have until August 10 to work on your creation!

Your finished piece:
  • Must contain at least part of all articles of clothing provided
    (other materials may be incorporated as you wish)
  • Must be able to be suspended from a standard clothes line with clothespins
    (think light and airy!)

Works may be offered for sale, with 1078 Gallery taking a 30% commission.

$10 
($8 for members)

Schedule:

Pick up raw materials and pay entry fee
During regular gallery hours (Thurs.–Sat. from 12:30–5:30pm)

Drop off finished artwork
Sunday, August 10 from 3–5pm
Monday, August 11 from 10am–12 noon

Pick up unsold artwork 
Sunday, September 7 from 10am - 2pm
