FieldWork explores human relationships with more-than-human networks and the role of creative practice in restoring ecologies. Matilda approaches art practice as a form of research and an opportunity to consciously engage in place. This exhibition presents developing site-specific printmaking processes combining different forms of impression-making, layering, and installation. FieldWork includes research from the Burren, Ireland where Matilda recently studied an MA in Art and Ecology as well as work from the Butte Creek Canyon, the first ecology she participated with.
