Rogelio Gutierrez, visiting artist and instructor for the Department of Art and Art History at CSU Chico during spring 2012, received his MFA from the Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis in 2011. Gutierrez has exhibited in many solo, group, and public space shows including Graphic Reality: Mexican Printmaking Today (2006, International Print Center of New York City), De La Mano: Print Based Work From La Mano Press (Los Angeles) and La Mano Graphica (Michoacan, Mexico) (2011, Bakersfield Museum of Art), and The 4th Chicano/a Biennial (2012, MACLA, San Jose). Very recently, he was responsible for the public art project Bienvenidos a Indianapolis, photos of which are included here.
