Colleen Toledano, a ceramic artist who resides in Chicago, received her MFA from Ohio University in Athens (2005) and her BS in Environmental Science from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA (2001). She is an assistant professor of art at Chicago State University. Toledano has also taught at Allegheny College; Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ; The Clay Studio in Philadelphia; Abington Art Center in Jenkinstown, PA; Arcadia University in Glenside, PA; Albion College in Albion, MI; and Southeastern Ohio Arts Center and Ohio University School of Art in Athens, OH. She has had numerous residencies and given lectures at places including Red Lodge Clay Center in MT; Tyler School of Art in Elkins Park, PA; Houston Center for Contemporary Craft; Concordia University in Montreal; Bowling Green University in OH; Mudflat Clay Center in Somerville, MA; and Chicago Institute of Art. She is represented by The Clay Studio, Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, and Red Lodge Clay.
