Jan. 2007 – “Conditions” with Matthew Hopson-Walker, Linda Frost, Leighton McWilliams. Linda Frost’s digital collages depict the barbaric world of vivisection and the ethical conflicts that arise as once-wild species die for dubious human causes. Matthew Hopson-Walker’s large drawings satirize personal experience, and are metaphors “for the trials of a normal life peppered with mediocrity, hardship, failure, and success.” Leighton McWilliams’ small scale, diaristic photo constructions draw from the works of Joseph Cornell, forensic imaging, and the history of photography.
