The 1078 Gallery sent out announcements to more than one hundred MFA programs across the country and beyond last fall for its Wanted: Wall Work exhibition. Juror John Baca (MFA, Digitial Media, Rhode Island School of Design, 2007; BFA, Sculpture, CSU Chico, 2005) chose fifteen artists among the entries to comprise a group show for this February and March in the gallery. The first place award is a solo show; second and third place awards are a two-person show. All mediums were considered as long as the art hangs on the wall. Baca will explain his choices and announce the first, second, and third places at 7 p.m. during the show's reception on February 26, 6-8 p.m.
